Hey! We're Doug & Darren!

We’re the guys behind Gay Almanac—and, just like you, we love great music, unforgettable parties, and finding the perfect excuse to wear something loud.

Gay Almanac originally started as a Facebook community called The Gay Rave and Circuit Almanac. We wanted to create a place where gay ravers, circuit boys, and party queens could connect, share experiences, and celebrate the music and culture that bring us together.

We also wanted to bridge two worlds we loved: the massive energy of EDM festivals and the fabulous spirit of gay circuit parties. The music might sound a little different, but both are about dancing, freedom, self-expression, and finding your people.

As members of both communities, we kept searching for party gear that felt like us. We wanted clothing and accessories that were bright, flashy, playful, and full of personality—but also comfortable, functional, and designed with safety and protection in mind.

We couldn’t find enough of it, so we decided to make it ourselves!

What began as an online community soon grew into a collection of gear created for festivals, circuit parties, Pride, gay cruises, and wherever else the night takes you. From bold apparel and fans to anti-theft bags and practical party accessories, everything we create is meant to help you look good, feel confident, protect your essentials, and enjoy the moment.

Getting here took plenty of trial and error. We tested, adjusted, and refined our ideas—often asking ourselves, “Sure, it looks cute, but will it survive a sweaty dance floor?” We kept working until our products delivered the combination we wanted from the beginning: fierce, functional, and unmistakably gay.

Today, Gay Almanac is much more than a store. It’s a community of more than 19,000 LGBTQ+ ravers, party queens, and party legends—and we’re genuinely happy you found us.

Around here, everybody is welcome. We celebrate every size, shape, color, and background. We believe in looking out for one another, respecting boundaries, asking for consent, partying responsibly, and practicing PLUR: peace, love, unity, and respect.

Whether you’re getting ready for your first Pride, your fiftieth circuit party, a huge festival, a gay cruise, or simply a night out with your favorite people, we’re here to help you show up loud, proud, and completely yourself.
